Curtis Door Systems Inc. has been designing, manufacturing and commissioning door systems for trains since, 1999. Previously, our organization was known as SMC Transit International (1987–1999). Our team of experienced and innovative engineers specialize in the development of door systems for the transit industry. Using the latest technology and innovation we can create door systems that are unique in design and operation. Using this technology we can also maintain door systems, acquired by our company, dating back to 1987. We are dedicated to supporting our customers from initial concept design through the service life of each door system.

New Curtis Canada Facility

It is with great pleasure that I am privileged to announce that Curtis Door Systems is expanding. This expansion will allow us to better serve our customers within the Transit Industry.

As of March 3, 2003, we will relocate from our existing Greenfield Park offices to our new 37,000 Sq Ft facility located in La Prairie, Québec Canada. This new facility will house our Engineering and Development activities as well as our Door Panel Manufacturing Division for the North American market.
